Welcome to the Merry & Bright Festival, brought to you by Christmas in the Park!

Event Information

The Christmas in the Park Committee invites you to this year's Merry & Bright Festival! We are starting traditions in a new location.

Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
Time: 4pm-8pm
Location: Outdoor lot across from Devon Public Library (205 Erie Street, Devon)
Cost: Free admission (food not included)
Food & beverage: Available to purchase from food trucks at the event
Free hot chocolate from Rollin N Hot Food Truck for the first 400 people!

The Leduc & District Food Bank will be on location to collect cash and non-perishable food donations!

Park n' Walk & Accessible Shuttle

Parking at the event site will be limited to volunteer and vendor parking. Please park at the alternate location below, or the other available public parking near the event.

Please park on the South end of the lot (closer to Dairy Queen)

Accessible Shuttle Pick-Up

Your Independent Grocer (16 Superior Street, Devon)
Shuttle pick-up will be happening on the front sidewalk (look for the event sign)

Event Activities

Visits with Santa

Get some pictures with Santa and Santa's elf! Santa will have some candy canes, too!

Visits with the Grinch

Get some pictures with the Grinch and Cindy Lou! Grab a Grinch sticker too.

See Elsa and Olaf!

Come see Elsa and Olaf! They will be roving throughout the event.

Indigenous Storytelling

Lex Wolfe is a Cree storyteller, educator and artist from Ermineskin Cree Nation. Join Lex for stories around the campfire!

Marshmallow Roasting

Come warm up and roast a marshmallow around the campfire!

Live Music

Join our very own local talent for some tunes in the music tent!

Axe Throwing

New this year - try axe throwing! Ages 7+ and waiver must be signed on-site.

Twirling Performances

Come see the Northern Lights Twirl Team performances! Weather dependent.

Jigging Performances

Kalen Bird is a youth Métis artist & jigger! Come watch solo jigging performances.

Train Wagon Rides

Bring the whole family and take a ride on the Devon Lions Club train! This train will take you for a loop around the event.

Antique Fire Truck Rides

Old Red is a 1944 Intercontinental Fire Truck and is one of the first fire trucks owned by the Town of Devon. Enjoy a ride!

Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides

Ride on a two-horse open sleigh, laughing all the way, with Pigeon Lake Horse Drawn Rides!

Kid Zone Crafts

Join us to make a fun & festive craft to take home, and write a letter to Santa!

Petting Zoo

Have a visit with some furry friends! Petting zoo will feature a variety of animals.

Maple Syrup Taffy

There is nothing tastier than making your own maple taffy lollipop!
